Notes on the Vintage
Our 2015 award winning English Sparkling Wine.
This vintage was given 18 months in the second fermenting process, “on the Lees”, that occurs once bottled. On appearance the brut offers plentiful streams of fine bubbles, and these lift the aromas. Slightly off dry, yet still refreshing we think this English sparkling is superb with salty cheeses and cold meats but also a triumph with British fish and chips fresh out of the paper and all enjoyed looking out to sea!
Our wines are made and bottled by Steve Brookbank nearby in Shepton Mallet, Somerset.
